Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a deposition-type catalyst having active component depositions in which active component particles are uniformly and firmly adsorbed without chemical bonds and showing high catalytic activity with good reproducibility, or to provide a composite body with deposition of metal particles and/or metal compd. particles useful for applications with electric or magnetic functions.
CONSTITUTION: The composite body with deposition of metal particles and/or metal compd. particles consists of a solid carrier, metal particles and/or metal compd. particles, and polymers to protect these particles adsorbed and deposited on the carrier. The polymer has 3000-300000 number average mol.wt. This composite body with deposition of metal particles and/or metal compd. particles is produced by bringing the solid carrier into contact with a colloid dispersion liquid which consists of a dispersion medium, metal particles and/or metal compd. particles, and protective polymers for particles.
