Abstract:
To provide a technology for suppressing warpage of a wooden material.SOLUTION: A composite material comprises a base material and a surface material. The surface material contains a plurality of veneers having a length in a prescribed direction, and is arranged on the surface of the base material. Each of the plurality of veneers has a first surface whose contraction coefficient corresponding to a degree of drying is relatively large and a second surface having the relatively small coefficient. An end surface in a crossing direction in each of the plurality of veneers is an inclined surface inclined so as to be located nearer a center side in the crossing direction toward the first surface relating to a thickness direction. The plurality of veneers are arranged side by side while the inclined surfaces of the veneers are matched with each other so that the directions of the first surface and the second surface of the adjacent veneers are different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
