Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an isotropic composite material resistant to shear-buckling, having high elasticity and free from stress concentration by using a specific three-dimensional woven fabric as a reinforcing material and filling a matrix in a state of covering the reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:The objective composite material is produced by filling a matrix such as epoxy resin to a three-dimensional woven fabric produced by perpendicularly crossing longitudinal, lateral and vertical filaments 3, 2, 1 to form a steric lattice, placing circular or rhombic reinforcing strand members 7, 6, 5 in a state of inscribing the quadrilateral plane partitioned by the filaments of two directions and fixing the contacting points 8 of the filaments 3, 2, 1 and the reinforcing strand members 7, 6, 5. The crossing point 4 of the longitudinal, lateral and vertical filaments 3, 2, 1 and the contact points of the filaments 3, 2, 1 and the reinforcing strand members 7, 5, 6 are bonded and fixed with an adhesive.
