The composite membrane comprises porous glass hollow fibers with 100 or higher ratio (L/D1) of the length (L) to the outer diameter (D1) and a zeolite crystal laminated on the fibers. The separation module contains the membrane. The separation method is for selectively removing water or organic matter from a mixed solution containing water and the organic matter by a pervaporation method.
