To provide a molding material comprising a used tea leaf-polyolefin-based resin composite material containing used tea leaf powder in a large compounding rate and having a sufficiently practical strength, wherein the used tea leaf powder has a large water content and could not have been compounded with the polyolefin-based resin which is a hydrophobic plastic.
This composite molding material for the extrusion molding comprises the used tea leaf powder, the polyolefin-based resin, and a maleic acid or maleic anhydride-modified polyolefin. This method for producing the composite molding material for the extrusion molding is characterized by sufficiently kneading a mixture of the used tea leaf powder, the polyolefin-based resin, and the maleic acid or maleic anhydride-modified polyolefin at 120 to 190°C under the addition of a shear force, lowering the temperature to ≤110°C and then palletizing the cooled product.
