To provide a thick nonwoven fabric excellent in durability of the surface of the fabric by utilizing simpler method than those used conventionally, and a method for producing the same.
This laminated nonwoven fabric obtained by laminating nonwoven fabrics, and constituted by laminating a long fiber nonwoven fabric using a thermoplastic fiber and a short fiber nonwoven fabric using the thermoplastic fiber. The composite nonwoven fabric has molten lumps of the long fiber on the surface of the long fiber nonwoven fabric side of the laminated nonwoven fabric. The method for producing the same is laminating the long fiber nonwoven fabric obtained by interlacing a long fiber web consisting of the thermoplastic fiber with the short fiber nonwoven fabric and then exposing the long fiber nonwoven fabric side surface of the laminated nonwoven fabric obtained by performing the interlacing treatment, to a higher temperature than the melting point of the long fiber by ≥30°C to form the molten lumps of the long fiber.
