Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously and easily release a mold and a resin layer using a release member without increasing the caliber of a base material.
CONSTITUTION: An energy curable resin is placed on the upper surface of a base material 2 and a mold 1 for molding an optical element is pressed to the resin to foot a desired resin layer 3. Next, the resin layer 3 is cured by the irradiation with energy and the cured resin layer 3 is released from the mold 1. At this time, a contact part 2a not protruding from the side surface of the base material 2 and having a shape enabling the contact with a release member 4 is provided to the side surface of the base material 2 and the release member 4 is brought into contact with the contact part 2a to release the mold 1 and the resin layer 3.
