To provide a composite particle producing hydroxy radicals in an aqueous solution by irradiation of ultrasonic waves and further making dispersion stability under neutral physiological conditions in a living body compatible with functions to specifically recognize a specified biological tissue in a well-balanced state.
The composite particle has TiO2 particles producing the hydroxy radicals in the aqueous solution by irradiation of the ultrasonic waves, a polyacrylic film coating at least a part of the surface of the TiO2 particles and a polypeptide containing a preS1/S2 sequence of a hepatitis B virus bound to the polyacrylic film and specifically recognizing a liver tissue of a mammal. The dispersion particle diameter is within the range of 50 to 200 nm.
