Abstract:
To provide a bioabsorbable scaffold material incorporating calcium phosphate nanoparticles containing osteoinductive compound dexamethasone in order to repair bone tissue, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The scaffold material is obtained by complexing a bioabsorbable polymer porous material and calcium phosphate nanoparticles containing dexamethasone. The resulting composite porous scaffold material is capable of retaining a particular shape, has biocompatibility, and has a property of enabling bone formation and regeneration induction. Thus, the material is suitable for regenerative medicine in which the material is implanted in a bone defective part in order to regenerate bone tissue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
