Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite resin particle aqueous dispersion containing a vinyl resin and a polyurethane resin, which allows a coating film excellent in flexibility, mechanical strength, weather resistance, solvent resistance and the like.SOLUTION: A composite resin particle contains a polyurethane resin (P) and a vinyl resin (V) obtained by polymerization of a monomer mixture containing a monomer (X) represented by the general formula (1) and satisfies at least one of the following (1) to (3). (1) (V) is dispersed in (P); (2) (P) is dispersed in (V); and (3) (P) and (V) are compatibilized. [Mand Mare a residue where a specific number of active hydrogens are removed from an active hydrogen compound; Ris an ethylenically unsaturated bond-containing group; L is a residue where all the carboxyl groups are removed from a specific aromatic polycarboxylic acid; a, b and c are each a specific integer.]
