PURPOSE: To provide lightweight composite resin wheels of excellent impact strength, heat resistance, creep resistance or the like and improved mass productivity, by constructing at least one of components of the resin wheel with long fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin and the others with metal and/or FRP.
CONSTITUTION: A rim portion 1 is made of long fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin, a disc portion 2 and a hub portion 3 are made of aluminum, and the rim portion 1 and the disc portion 2 are pinched together with a bolt 4 as an unit. Thereby lightweight wheels of excellent mechanical performances such as bending strength, impact strength or the like, and of no quality variation, and of improved mass productivity and variety can be provided.
