PURPOSE: To provide a composite reverse-osmotic membrane capable of obtaining high salt blocking rate and high chlorine resistance by forming the membrane of a thin film and a slightly porous supporting body for supporting the thin film and allowing the thin film to consist essentially of polymer formed of a specific multifunctional amine compound.
CONSTITUTION: In the composite reverse-osmotic membrane consisting of the thin film and the supporting body for supporting the thin film, the thin film is formed of a material consisting essentially of the polymer formed of the multifunctional amine compound, in which the angle of torsion exhibiting the relative position of adjacent amino groups (R and R') in a general formula is in positional relation except =0° to ±30° according to the designation of conformation by the IUPAC recommendation, and a functional acid halide compound having at least two groups selected from -COX1 group (X1 is halide) and -SO2X2 (X2 is halide). In the formula, each of R and R' is -NHR5 and each of R1 to R5 is H or 1-4C alkyl group. A alicyclic amine compound is used as the functional amine compound.
