Abstract:
To provide a composite semipermeable membrane which is excellent in water permeability and salt rejection, and contains an extremely small amount of unreacted multifunctional amine components, and its production method.
In the composite semipermeable membrane where a skin layer comprising a polyamide resin made by the interfacial polymerization of a multifunctional amine component and a multifunctional acid halide component is formed on the surface of a porous substrate, after the formation of the skin layer, the content of the unreacted multifunctional amine component before washing the membrane is ≤200 mg/m2, and the content of the unreacted multifunctional amine component after washing the membrane is ≤20 mg/m2.
