To improve separation selectivity of light gas such as hydrogen and helium, and other kinds of gases such as carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen and methane.SOLUTION: A composite separation membrane for gas separation includes a porous support layer, and a separation function layer which is provided on the porous support layer and contains cross-linked polyamide. In the composite separation membrane for gas separation, an average pore diameter d[nm] of the separation function layer determined according to the positron annihilation lifetime method, and a hydrogen permeability PA[nmol/m2/s/Pa] of the separation function layer determined according to the equal pressure method satisfy formula 1.
