PURPOSE: To deform a sheet material into a shape leveling the pressure dispersion between a foot and an insole within a relatively short time by constituting the same of a laminate having a large number of layers containing carrier fabrics having a waxy material applied to both surfaces thereof and the relatively small particles and relatively solid small fibers in the waxy material.

CONSTITUTION: A sheet member 24 contains a laminate 26 comprising a large number of individual layers 28 and each of the respective layers 28 contains a central carrier fabric 30. Both surfaces of the carrier fabric 30 are coated with a low mol.wt. waxy material 32 having a low m.p. and a large number of small particles, chopped hard fibers or flocs 36 are arranged in the waxy material 32. By this constitution, the sheet member 24 can remove the pressure points between a foot 10 and a midsole/outsole structure 14 by the movement of the small particles 34 and flocs 36 in a shoe insole 16.
