Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite soft magnetic sintered material which has high density, excellent mechanical strengths and high relative magnetic permeability of high-frequency.
SOLUTION: SiO2 powder having ≤100 nm average grain size in an amount of 0.05 to 1.0 mass% is added to composite soft magnetic powder in which a ferrite layer having spinel structure covers the surfaces of iron powder, Fe-Si series iron-based soft magnetic alloy powder, Fe-Al series iron-based soft magnetic alloy powder, Fe-Si-Al series iron-based soft magnetic alloy powder, Fe-Cr series iron-based soft magnetic alloy powder or Ni-based soft magnetic alloy powder (hereinafter they are referred to as metal soft magnetic powder) then the mixture is blended, is green compact molded and is sintered. Otherwise ≥2 kinds of composite soft magnetic powder in which the surfaces of the metal soft magnetic powder are covered with a ferrite layer haivng spinel structure of mutually different components and compositions, are blended and then the mixture is green compact molded and is sintered. The composite soft magnetic sintered material manufactured by either of these methods is provided.
