Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite strand, which solves a fixing difficulty as a single defect of a continuous fiber reinforcing material, is easy to convey, handle, and install without requiring a special large-diameter sheath, and abounds in weather resistance and corrosion resistance at a low cost.
SOLUTION: Strands 11 and 21 of a weather-resistant steel stranded wire for prestressed concrete 10 and the continuous fiber reinforcing material 20 are abutted together at different positions in the longitudinal direction and combined into a stranded wire-like continuous wire to form a connection section 30. A reinforcing fiber sheet coated with a resin is spirally and tightly wound on the outer periphery of the connection section 30, and the sheet surface is heated and cured with the resin to form this composite strand 1.
