Abstract:
To provide a novel thermoelectric conversion material exhibiting high thermoelectric conversion efficiency and superior performance by reducing the thermal conductivity.
A low thermal conductivity substance is added to a thermoelectric conversion material mainly comprising a thermoelectric conversion material, with a Whistler structure set as the main phase and having a composition represented by general formula (Fe1-xMx)2V1-yLyAl1-zRz(where, M is at least one kind of element selected from among a group of Co, Ni, Pd, Ir and Pt, L is at least one kind of element selected from among a group of Ti, Cr, Mn, Zr and Mo, R is at least one kind of element selected from among a group of Mg, Si, P, S, Ca, Ge, Sn, Sb and Bi, and 0≤x≤0.2; 0≤y≤0.2; 0≤z≤0.2) at a ratio of 10 vol% or lower for its principal component for producing a compound thermoelectric conversion material. A thermoelectric conversion element and a thermoelectric conversion module are also provided.
