In a composite triplex power cable comprising three power cable conductors 1 and a plurality of pipes 3 for inserting optical fibers, with the conductors and pipes being twisted together into an approximately circular cross section, and with optical fibers inserted into the pipes for inserting the optical fibers, the pipes for inserting the optical fibers are provided on their outer peripheries with projections such that the apparent outside diameter of the pipe for inserting optical fiber increases.
