Title:
COMPOSITE UNDERGROUND WALL AND EXECUTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND CUT-OFF MATERIAL EXPANDABLE WITH WATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3777549
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cut-off properties of a composite underground wall.
SOLUTION: An annular cut-off material 17 expandable with water is annularly mounted on a stud 16 which is to be fixed to a steel frame, serving as a core material 12 of a column row type underground wall such as a soil mixing wall (SMW) 11, so as to be embedded in a reinforced concrete (RC) wall 13; and a cut-off sheet 18 or a coated film-based waterproof material is interposed in a position, in which tensile stress is produced, between boundary surfaces of the stud 16 and the cut-off material 17. In the execution of work for the composite underground wall, the SMW is provided; the front side of the SMW is excavated; a surface of the steel frame is exposed; the stud 16, on which the cut-off material 17 is annularly mounted, is fixed to the surface of the steel frame; the cut-off sheet 18 or the coated film-based waterproof material is mounted in a position in which it is assumed that the tensile stress is produced; a wall reinforcement 14 is arranged; a form is assembled; and concrete is placed. The cut-off material 17 is formed in such an annular shape as to have a central hole into which a reinforcing bar for being used as the stud 16, etc., is to be inserted, and constituted in such a manner as to have a three-layer structure in which rubber layers expandable with the water are laminated on the inner and outer peripheral sides of a nonexpandable rubber layer, respectively.
