To provide a cloth for an interlining exhibiting less reduction of forming property and form-maintaining property, and rigidity in consumption stage, having a good dimensional stability even by performing a cleaning with water and a smooth touch feeling on its surface, and a composite yarn for constituting the cloth.
This composite yarn for the interlining is constituted by in a plurality of core yarn filaments and a fine filament yarn arranged around the core yarn filaments, and is processed by performing the yarn twisting of the core yarn filaments with the fine filament yarn by 4,500-20,000 twisting factor. The core yarn filaments consist of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber having 10-50 decitex single fiber fineness, and the fine filament yarn consists of fine filaments or a spun yarn consisting of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber having <10 decitex single fiber fineness. The fine filament yarn is preferably a spontaneous elongation yarn or a false-twisted yarn. The cloth for the interlining is obtained by performing an adjusting process on a raw fabric obtained by weaving or knitting the composite yarn for the interlining as a weft or warp yarn. In the adjusting process, a touch-processing by using a touch-adjusting agent is not performed.
