Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article or a wipe with a personal care composition comprising an isosorbide diester as a solvent for a solid cosmetic component.SOLUTION: A personal care composition comprising isosorbide diester represented by the following formula is disclosed, in the formula, R' and R'' are independently selected from saturated or unsaturated straight chain or branched chain of C1 to 30. In addition, the isosorbide diester may comprise a soluble solid cosmetic component and a dermatologically acceptable carrier and may be in the form of an emulsion. Furthermore, the isosorbide diester represented by the following formula may be contained. In the formula, R' and R'' are independently selected from saturated or unsaturated straight chain or branched chain of C1 to 30, Zto Zare independently selected from hydrogen, hydroxyl, amino and amide, and R' may be selected from R''.SELECTED DRAWING: None
