Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an artificial light-weight aggregate excellent especially in lightness of weight and stability by using coal ash as a main raw material.
CONSTITUTION: This artificial light-weight aggregate is composed of (A) 5-95wt.% of powdery material (a) obtained by pulverizing rocks containing ≥50wt.% of crystalline silica mineral having crystalline particle diameter of ≥5μm and ≥50wt.% of SiO2 and (b) that having particle diameter of 10-250μm in 50-95wt.% of the pulverized material and (B) 95-5wt.% of coal ash having the maximum particle diameter of ≤200μm.
