Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a photoprotective/cosmetic composition capable of protecting skin or hair from ultraviolet radiation and to provide a method for using the same.
CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises the following (i) and (ii) as constituent ingredients in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle. (i) an organic sunscreening system containing a combination of a first sunscreen compound which is 2,4,6- tris{p-((2'ethylhexyl)oxycarbonyl)anilino}-1,3,5-triazine and a second sunscreen compound that is benzene-1,4-di(3-methylidene-10camphorsulfonic)acid and in the form of an optionally or totally neutralized form and (ii) an inorganic nanopigment based on a metallic oxide.
