Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a compsn. capable of removing org. deposits by using an org. compd. capable of dissolving or swelling the deposits, water, a specific assistant, a surfactant, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises an org. compd. (A) capable of dissolving or swelling org. deposits adherent to the surface of an object such as metal, glass, plastic or paper, an assistant (B) selected from among alcohols, glycol ethers and pyrrolidone derives., (C) a surfactant, and water. The component (A) is either in a state of oil-in-water dispersion or in a state of being dissolved in water. The kind of component (A) is not particularly limited. According to one embodiment, the compsn. comprises at least 15wt.% dieter of a dicarboxylic acid, such as dimethyl adipate, as the component (A), at least 1wt.% component (B), and the balance comprising water and a surfactant as the component (C), provided that the component (A) is in the form of dispersed droplets. This compsn. can effectively remove the deposits by virture of the function of dissolving or swelling them by the component (A) thereof and the function of converting the deposits into a gum-like lump in the water phase thereof.
