Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a composition for coating capable of readily forming a coating film excellent in hardness, adhesion, corrosion and fouling resistances, transparency, denseness, sliding properties and especially water repellency at low temperatures and provide a method for coating.
CONSTITUTION: This composition for coating is obtained by reacting and adding an aliphatic fluorine compound to a polysilazane-based polymer constituting a polysilazane-based composition for coating having ≤350°C ceramic forming temperature. Furthermore, this method for producing a ceramic film is to apply the resultant composition to a substrate, heat-treat the formed film at ≤150°C temperature, then expose the heat-treated film to a steam atmosphere or dip the film in an aqueous solution containing a catalyst or carry out the treatment using both the operations and convert the film into ceramics.
