To obtain the subject composition, comprising a specific component blended therein and capable of forming a coating film and good in adhesion to an existing coating film of, e.g. an automobile and rerepairing properties.
This composition comprises (A) a cellulose acetate butyrate (having ≥38% butyryl group content and ≥0.01sec viscosity) in an amount of ≥5wt.% expressed in terms of resin solid content, (B) nitrocellulose (having preferably ≥1sec viscosity) in an amount of ≥2.5wt.% expressed in terms of the resin solid content and (C) an acrylic resin (having ≥50,000 weight-average molecular weight and ≤25°C glass transition temperature) in an amount of ≥25wt.% expressed in terms of the resin solid content. The total amount of the components A and B is ≤55wt.% expressed in terms of the resin solid content. Furthermore, (D) a pigment is preferably contained therein.
