Abstract:
To obtain a composition for coating having performances capable of withstanding outdoor severe sunrays, rain, humidity and a temperature difference between high and low temperatures.
This resin composition for the coating comprises a thermosetting organopolysiloxane, contains ≤3% of a trimer component, ≤15% of a tetramer component, ≤13% of a pentamer component and a monomer component to a dimer component substantially absent in the organopolysiloxane and has 8-100 number-average degree of polymerization. The optical member utilizes the resin composition.
