Abstract:
To obtain the subject composition having excellent stability at a high temperature near a specific temperature such as bodily temperature and useful for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foods, etc., by including a cyclodipeptide derivative.
A compound of the formula (R1 is a 1-4C alkyl, benzyl, etc.; R2 is a 6-22C alkyloxycarbonyl, etc.) is produced by refluxing an alkyl ester of a dipeptide in 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene under heating, hydrogenating the obtained cyclodipeptide alkyl ester with hydrogen using a Pd catalyst and esterifying the product. The objective composition can be produced by using the obtained compound as a component in an amount of 0.1-100 pts.wt., preferably 0.5-90 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of an oily component.
