To obtain the subject composition having a long shelf life of a phosphorus compound and slight corrosiveness for metals by including the phosphorus compound and a specific stabilizer.
This composition is obtained by including (A) at least one kind of phosphorus compound [preferably resorcinol bis(diphenyl phosphate) or the like] and (B) at least one kind of stabilizer which is a compound represented by any of formulae I to IV [R1 to R3, R5 to R12 and R17 are each H, a 1-10C alkyl, a 6-12C aryl or the like; (a) and (b) are each 1-5; (c) and (d) are each 0-10; (e) is 1-4; (f) and (h) are each 1-100; R4 and R13 are each a group of NCO or NHCOOR'; R' is an alkylpolyether glycol or the like; (g) is 0-5; R14 to R16 are each H, a group of (CH2)1-N=C=O or the like; and (l) is 1-20] (e.g. a compound represented by formula V). The amounts of the components based on the composition are preferably 99.99-80 mass % of the component A and 0.01-20 mass % of the component B.
