Abstract:

To provide an electrolyte film having high proton conductivity and excellent fuel permeation resistance.

The composition includes at least (a) a proton dissociative vinyl monomer, (b) a crosslinking agent having at least two C=C double bonds in one molecule and (c) a cyano group-containing compound represented by general formula (1): R1-(R2-)C=C(-R3)-R4-CN. In formula (1), R1, R2 and R3 each independently denotes hydrogen, an alkyl group, a cyano group or a halogen atom, and R4 denotes a single bond, a phenylene group or an alkyl phenylene group.
