To obtain a composition curable in the air in order to improve problems in which, when an organic peroxide catalyst and an accelerator are added to an oligomer (resin) having ≥250 and ≤2,000 molecular weight and having one or more (meth)acryloyl groups represented by the formula (wherein R is H or CH3) in one molecule to cure the oligomer, the surface of the resin contacting with the air is not cured, because curing inhibiting action of the air (oxygen) on the resin is remarkable and practicality is remarkably impaired by the residual tackiness and sufficient effect is not obtained even when wax in large amount of ≥1 pt. wt. is added to 100 pts. wt. resin.
The resin curable in the air is obtained by combinedly using (1) an oligoacrylate containing one or more (meth)acryloyl groups in one molecule and being a liquid at normal temperature with (2) tung oil and (3) wax having ≥35°C melting point. The amount of wax used can be reduced to about 1/5 and the resin can rapidly and completely be dried and practical effect of the addition of the tung oil is made larger by combinedly using 100 pts. wt. resin with ≥0.01 pt. wt. and ≤10 pts. wt. tung oil.
