Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation composition for simultaneously disinfecting, neutralizing and cleaning soft contact lens and provide a method for simply, effectively and safely using the composition.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises a combination of a first preparation containing an iodine-based disinfecting agent and a protease with a second preparation containing a sulfur-containing reducing agent and a foaming agent and having a sustained release coating material and contains an anionic surfactant in at least either one of the first preparation and the second preparation. Thereby, stained soft contact lens is kept in an aqueous solution colored to yellow or brown by iodine molecule and after the aqueous solution becomes colorless, the lens are separated from the aqueous solution and disinfection, neutralization and cleaning which are a series of cares can simply be practiced.
