Abstract:

To provide a composition for forming an electrode that can be fired in air at a temperatures of 600 C or lower, and even when subjected to the repetitive firing processes, the absolute value of resistance and increase in resistance are minimal.

The composition for an electrode composition is composed of 5% to 95% by mass of aluminum powder the grain size distribution width of which expressed by formula (1) is 2.0 or smaller, and value of D50 of which is in the range of 0.1D5020 m, 3% to 60% by mass of an organic binder, and a solvent. In the formula (1), D10, D50 and D90 represent grain diameters at points at which a cumulative curve of the grain size distribution obtained on the basis of the total mass as 100% by mass reaches 10%, 50% and 90%, respectively.
