PURPOSE: To obtain a curable composition for tip building and underground packing having enhanced initial shear strength by incorporating processing wastes including an aqueous dispersion having a prescribed amount of solid particles, an effective amount of cement and an effective amount of a specific water absorbent material polymer into the composition.
CONSTITUTION: The curable composition for tip building and underground packing having the enhanced initial shear strength has the processing wastes including the aqueous dispersion having the solid particles of 10 to 50 pts. wt. per 100 pts. wt. dispersion, the effective amount of the cement and the effective amount of the water absorbent material polymer having a mixture composed of a Mannich acrylamide polymer and a dimethyldiallylammonium halide polymer. The cement and the deliberately selected specific water absorbent material polymer are added to the aqueous processing wastes in the manner described above, by which the initial and long-term shear strength possessed by the processing wastes and the initial tip stability exhibited by the processing wastes are increased.
