Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition suitable for fan clutch, preventing change of viscosity of fluid coupling for a long period of time, having excellent durability, by blending a base oil comprising an organopolysiloxane with a phosphorus-based wear inhibitor, etc.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A base oil comprising an organopolysiloxane shown by the formula [R is 1-18C (halogenated) hydrocarbon; n is 1-3,000 integer] is blended with (B) a mixture of (i) 0.01-5wt.% phosphorus-based wear inhibitor and (ii) 0.01-5wt.% sulfur-based wear inhibitor and/or zinc thiophosphate-based wear inhibitor as a wear inhibitor and optionally (C) 0.001-5% antioxidant to give the objective composition.
