Abstract:
To provide a composition for foam formation containing an aqueous polyurethane resin which has sufficiently high foamability, can be efficiently foamed, sets a thickness of a form resin layer made of a foam cured product of the composition to be sufficiently thick, and can impart sufficiently high feeling and material fracture strength at a higher level to an obtained leather material when a leather material is produced using the composition.SOLUTION: A composition for foam formation contains (A) a first self emulsification type aqueous polyurethane resin having at least one hydrophilic functional group selected from the group consisting of a sulfo group and a sulfonate group, (B) a second self emulsification type aqueous polyurethane resin having at least one hydrophilic functional group selected from the group consisting of a carboxy group and a carboxylate group, (C) a crosslinking agent, (D) a foaming agent, (E) a polysaccharide-based thickener, and (F) water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
