PURPOSE: To provide the subject aerosol-type composition containing a hair-tonic base and 4 kinds of solvents having different boiling points at specific ratios, exhibiting excellent hair-tonic effect by the pharmacological effect of the hair- tonic agent and the chilling effect of the solvent, giving good feeling to the scalp and having excellent spraying performance.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is produced by dissolving or dispersing 0.01-15 pts.wt. of a hair-tonic base in a medium composed of (A) 0-50 pts. of a solvent having a boiling point of 80-130°C (e.g., water), (B) 0-80 pts. of a solvent having a boiling point of 50-80°C (e.g., ethyl alcohol), (C) 10-95 pts. of a solvent having a boiling point of 0-50°C (e.g., trichloromonofluoromethane) and (D) 2-30 pts. of a solvent having a boiling point of ≤0°C (e.g., dichlorodifluoromethane, liquefied petroleum gas or carbon dioxide) (the sum of A-D is 100 pts.wt.). The composition exhibits the above effects when sprayed against the scalp without causing the drooling of the liquid. It gives excellent feeling to the scalp and good spraying state.
