Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a high substitution degree hydroxyethyl cellulose composition which has good powder fluidity and excellent antiblocking properties.
CONSTITUTION: Hydroxyethyl cellulose of 2.5 or higher mole substitution(MS) in the hydroxyethyl groups or its derivative is mixed with 0.6-2.0 pts.wt. of stearate salts such as calcium stearate or zinc stearate per 100 pts.wt. of the hydroxyethyl cellulose or its derivative to give this composition.
