To provide a composition including 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,3-dichloropropane.SOLUTION: A composition includes 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,3-dichloropropane, 3,3,3-trifluoropropene, a chlorine gas, a catalyst, and 1,1,1-trifluoro-3-chloropropylene. The catalyst includes at least one metal chloride. The metal is nickel, iron, chromium, or a combination of them. The at least one metal chloride is supported on activated carbon.
