Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an intraoral composition which contains manasseite-like substance, can remove mouth bacteria and neutralize the acid formed by the mouth bacteria. CONSTITUTION: This intraoral composition contains 0. 01-30wt.%, preferably 0.1-15wt.% of a compound represented by formula I [M is a divalent cation or its combination; N is a trivalent or tetravalent cation or its combination where in the case that N represents only Al, M does not represent only Mg; m is a molar fraction of M; n is a molar fraction of trivalent cation; p is a molar fraction of tetravalent cation where m+n+p=1, 0 is an anion with a charge of y<-> and a molar fraction of' z and (total of molar fractions) × (anionic charge) = formula II (t is the total number of anions); x is 0-100], typically a compound of formula III or formula IV. This composition is prepared to mouthwash or dentifrice.
