Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material which has excellent metal ion adsorbability, elution property and durability as well, and to provide a composition which can be used therefor.SOLUTION: The composition comprises: polyethylene imine (A) by 15 to 40 mass%; and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) having an ethylene content of 30 to 50 mol% by 60 to 85 mass%. Alternatively, the composition comprises: polyethylene imine (A); the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B); and an amine-based polymer (C) having primary amino groups by 10 to 35 pieces per 1,000 of the number-average molecular weight, and in which the total content of the polyethylene imine (A) and the amine-based polymer (C) is 15 to 40 mass%, the content of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) is 60 to 85 mass%, and the mass ratio of the polyethylene imine (A) to the total of the polyethylene imine (A) and the amine-based polymer (C) is ≥20%. The metal ion adsorbent uses the same.
