Abstract:
To provide an in silico model for determining a yeast physiological function.
The model includes a data structure relating a plurality of yeast reactants to a plurality of yeast reactions; a constraint set for the plurality of yeast reactions; and commands for determining a distribution of flux through the reactions predictive of a yeast physiological function. The model further includes a gene database containing information characterizing an associated gene or gene group. A method for preparing an in silico yeast model, and a method for determining a yeast physiological function using the model, are further provided.
