Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for secondary battery porous films which is small in remaining water amount, and enables the improvement of battery performance such as high-temperature cycle characteristic, and enables the manufacturing of a porous film capable of serving as a separator, and is less in foreign material mixture during transport, and small in damage to a coater; and a porous film and a secondary battery, which are arranged by use of such a composition.SOLUTION: A composition for nonaqueous secondary battery porous films comprises: barium sulphate particles; a water-soluble polymer; and water. The barium sulphate particles have a BET specific surface area of 3.0 m/g or more and 6.3 m/g or less. The composition for nonaqueous secondary battery porous films is used to arrange a porous film and a secondary battery.
