Abstract:
To provide a composition for an optical material wherein lowering of transparency by exposure to light and heat can be reduced, an optical material obtained by curing the composition and its production method.
A composition for an optical material comprises as the essential components (A) an organic compound composed of an organic skeleton containing at least two C-C double bonds reactive with a SiH group in a molecule, (B) a silicone compound containing at least two SiH groups in a molecule, (C) a hydrosilyl catalyst and (D) a compound containing phosphorus or sulfur.
