In a composition for the organic electroluminescent element including charge transport materials, a luminescent material and a solvent, at least one of the charge transport materials satisfies the following formula (1). The luminescent layer of the organic electroluminescent element having the luminescent layer between a positive electrode and a negative electrode is formed by using the composition for the organic electroluminescent element. The formula (1) is 0.01≤μe/μh≤6 (in the formula (1), μe expresses electron mobility of the charge transport material in electric field intensity of 0.3 to 0.5 MV/cm and μh expresses hole mobility of the charge transport material in the electric field intensity of 0.3 to 0.5 MV/cm).
