Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a dye composition having durability, no selectivity and non-toxicity and fastness especially to light rays, severe weather, sweat and various treatments applied to hair, and coloring in a range from red to purple.
CONSTITUTION: In this oxidation dyeing composition for keratinous fibers, especially for human keratinous fibers such as hair, of the type containing, in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least one oxidation dye precursor substance and at least one coupling agent, the dye composition contains 2-(β-hydroxyethyl)- p-phenylenediamine as the oxidation dye precursor substance and 2-methyl-5- aminophenol as the coupling agent. The composition is used for dyeing of keratinous fibers, especially human keratinous fibers such as hair.
