To obtain a regenerated polyol which is obtained by decomposing a waste material of a polyurethane resin, exhibits an improved compatibility with a hydrocarbon-based blowing agent and can provide the same physical properties as those of a polyurethane resin before the decomposition when reused as a raw material for a polyurethane foam.

The polyurethane resin is decomposed with a composition for polyurethane resin decomposition, which is obtained by subjecting an alkylene oxide to addition polymerization to an aromatic amine compound and contains a polyether polyol having a terminal secondary hydroxy group.
