Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for powder injection molding the flowability of which in injection molding can be enhanced without deteriorating its shape retention property and degreasing rate in a degreasing step.
SOLUTION: This composition for powder injection molding comprises a sinterable inorganic powder such as a metal powder or a ceramic powder and an organic binder comprising 5-30 wt.% polyacetal resin, 10-40 wt.% acrylic resin, and 5-30 wt.% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin based on the total weight of the organic binder.
