Abstract:
To provide a composition having improved flowability, improved storability, and/or improved absorptivity of contaminants such as sulfur oxide and/or halogenated hydrogen, a manufacturing process for the composition, and the use of the composition for dry flue gas purification.SOLUTION: A composition for the purification of flue gas contains 1 to 99 wt.% of powder of bicarbonate and/or carbonate of sodium and 1 to 99 wt.% of powder of an absorptive material, relative to the total weight of the composition. The powder of absorptive material has a specific pore volume that is equal to or greater than 0.1 cm3/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None
